If I’d lived my life by what others were thinkin’, the heart inside me would’ve died

I was just too stubborn to ever be governed by enforced insanity

Someone had to reach for the risin’ star, I guess it was up to me

Ah, this lovely tree. If it's the one I think it is, I know if in all seasons. A photo of you and Paul with a cigar on the day of our nuptuals - which is why I write. The poem, the poem. An affirmation at just the right time, somewhat troubled times but definitely affirmable. Much love to you and incense to come in celebration of your birthday.

Yes "the lonely Baobob tree" to cite "Setting out for America," a tree that preides over the Sruce Creek hollow where the Faulds have dreamt of their cabin, but moreover and indeed it is the Wedding Oak that mighty tree planted by the river of Psalm 1!
You shall not wither, the Lord will cause your leaves to grow green! Rest in all hope of His Grace.
